We’ve curated and vetted a list of 350+ of the very best in communications, marketing and creative services worldwide. Everyone listed is pre-vetted, with years of experience in their field, and available for independent contract work today. Many are also open to full-time discussions.

We offer four options to find the talent you need:

1. Share your opportunity with our talent network (for free) and receive submissions from highly qualified applicants straight to your inbox.

2. Work with our founder (a longtime communications pro) on a curated search - freelance, full-time or fractional. Book a chat here.

3. Browse our global directory of 350+ professionals with a one-month free trial, and reach out to candidates directly. No middle man.

4. Large corporation? Engage us for contract staffing - we’ll manage contractor agreements, payments and administration so you don’t have to. Contact us to learn more.
   
   

How much does this cost?

Accessing all 350+ candidate profiles in our directory is free for the first month of access. Then your access will renew at $50 USD monthly. Submitting opportunities is always free.

We never take a cut of our consultants’ fees. We believe great communications support should be accessible to all, and we believe consultants should keep the money they earn.

How exclusive is this community? How do you vet your members?

Our founder, a longtime communications consultant, personally curated this community of talent to ensure proper qualifications. Our vetting process begins with a comprehensive application and continues with a thorough review of each candidate’s resume, work quality, client feedback and LinkedIn presence. We only accept a small percentage of applicants.

Unlike many other online databases where any freelancer can post a profile and call themselves an “expert,” our consulting community is truly exclusive.

Can’t I just find consultants on LinkedIn? Or work with a recruiter?

Try searching for “communications consultant” on LinkedIn. You’ll generate hundreds of thousands of results. Asking around your network takes time, and those referrals don’t always align to the specificity of your needs. Working with a traditional recruiter can take weeks, and cost tens of thousands.

We save you time, headaches and money by placing the best of the best right at your fingertips.

What if I need a whole team, not just one person?

You can easily find or create a full team of experts using our directory. All you have to do is find a consultant you like, then ask for their recommended partners. Every expert in our directory is ready and able to assemble a team of preferred consultants to fit your needs (and every one of them has access to our full directory).

You can also form a team by working with our founder personally.

What do your consultants charge?

Our consultants are deeply seasoned in their practice areas, and each individual charges fairly for their years of experience. Many determine project fees and retainers based on the value they can deliver for your business. Hourly rates vary widely, but the median falls between $100 and $200 USD.

Do you guarantee the consultant’s work quality?

CommsConsultants.com is a resource for connecting to top talent. We create opportunities for connection between consultants and clients, and we make introductions. We are not involved in the communication, negotiation or partnership between consultants and clients. As such, we cannot guarantee the work quality for the consultant you choose. However, we do personally hand select and pre-vet every consultant in our directory to ensure they have the expertise to join us.

I’m a consultant. How do I get listed on your site?

We’re so glad you’re interested! Check out our Apply page for more information, including criteria, benefits of membership, and a link to our application. We give special attention to applications from international candidates, diverse candidates, and experts working in niche practice areas.

We are very selective in our membership, and we reserve the right to decline membership to any candidate for any reason. We also reserve the right to remove a candidate from our directory if we receive repeated negative feedback from clients (in these rare instances, prorated annual fees will be refunded).
